Background

As the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) marks its 60th anniversary in 2026, the world is witnessing rapid advancements in pharmaceutical technology alongside the accelerating development of Thailand’s pharmaceutical and medical industries. Recognizing this pivotal moment, GPO is launching its first international pharmaceutical conference, the GPO Pharmaceutical Summit 2026, to highlight its leadership role in the nation’s pharmaceutical sector and its mandate as the primary agency safeguarding national drug security—an institution trusted by, and a source of pride for, the Thai people. The GPO Pharmaceutical Summit 2026 brings together world-renowned experts across medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, and global health to share frontier knowledge and practical insights. Through keynote lectures, scientific forums, and regulatory discussions, the summit provides a platform for advancing innovation in drug research, development, manufacturing, and quality systems. By fostering collaboration among scientists, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry partners, the conference aims to strengthen Thailand’s pharmaceutical ecosystem and enhance the country’s readiness for future health challenges.

Objectives

To raise awareness of the Government Pharmaceutical Organization’s role as a national leader in the pharmaceutical, medical, and health sectors, and to highlight its essential mandate as the primary organization responsible for ensuring Thailand’s drug and medical supply security.

To promote the dissemination, transfer, and exchange of emerging and future-oriented pharmaceutical and medical knowledge to Thai healthcare professionals, as well as to participants from around the world.

To enhance strategic relationships and broaden collaborative partnerships with pharmaceutical networks in Thailand and abroad, contributing to a stronger, more globally integrated healthcare system.
